What mums are dreaming of doing after lockdown

Updated: Sep 24

With lockdown still in place in parts of the country, we know we're far from being back to any kind of normal we would recognise. We asked you what you were dreaming of doing after lockdown and this is what some of you told us:

"I just can’t wait until we are no longer living in fear that every sneeze, cough and splutter walking past people is putting you at risk...At times, outside the house, I feel like the fear is constant " Kristina

"I'm most looking forward to having a really good hug from friends and family. My kids are teenagers and it's just not the same hugging someone more interested in Tiki's Tok! I want a full on bear hug!" Natalie

"What I'm looking forward to is the same old humdrum daily routine I had before everything changed. Even though at times I hated the repetition, I want it back now. I just knew where I was at then… ". Angela

"Going to see my elderly Mum and Dad and the rest of the family back in Canada. We usually spend the summer there with the kids and it's especially tough as it was my Dad's 80th this year, zoom just wasn't the same" . Vivien

"Finally getting around to doing my very first parachute jump!" Trish

For all of the dreamers, we say Geronimo! ...to a full and adventure-filled life after lockdown. Leave us a comment below to let us know what you've been dreaming of.
