3 classic sing along nursery rhymes with lyrics and actions
Updated: Jan 6
We're starting the week gently today with three classic and very simple nursery rhymes videos for you to sing with your child. It's easy to forget sometimes why we sing nursery rhymes so often to our babies, but they are important building blocks for early literacy*. Singing with your baby and toddler is also an essential, and very nurturing, way to help them develop key developmental skills. Even very small babies will learn to listen, start recognizing different word and letter sounds and the rhyming elements of the songs, alongside the actions, combine as a great way to help your children recognise sound patterns and begin to develop their fine motor skills.
So, settle back to connect with your little one and indulge in some calming, gentle together time with Luke and Sara.
*All the words are included too ( just in case you need a reminder ).

Row your boat
Row row row your boat,
Gently down the stream
Merrily, merrily, merrily merrily,
Life is like a dream
Row row row your boat,
Gently down the stream,
And if you see a crocodile,
Don't forget to scream...
Incy wincy spider
Incy winky spider
Climbed up the water spout
Down came the rain and washed the spider out
Out came the sunshine and dried up all the rain
and incy wincy spider climed up the spout again
Twinkle Twinkle
Twinkle twinkle little star
How I wonder what you are
Up above the sky so high
Like a diamond in the sky
Twinkle twinkle little star
How I wonder what you are
