Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs

Inspired by this fantastical classic picture book by Judi Barrett, we will be making a super-cool mobile featuring different types of raining food! We’ll be getting creative practising our mark-making and decorating our raining food however we choose. Afterwards, we’ve got a recipe for delicious courgette balls to make at home together.

3pm Story-time

The Giant Jam Sandwich

by Janet Burroway

Continuing our theme of giant food, we’ll be finding out what happens in the village of Itching Down when a swarm of wasps arrives! This picture book has a gentle rhyming rhythm and a funny, imaginative story. What giant food would your little ones like to make if they could? Can they draw a picture of it?
